We recognise that communication around a memorial may bring many feelings to the surface and these mixed emotions may cause you further upset. That is not our intention and we wish to offer support to those affected. If you would like to speak with someone, we have partnered with a baby loss counselling and peer support charity to offer support to affected bereaved families.
Please find details below on what support Fife Council can offer you.
Fife Council have asked Held In Our Hearts to provide emotional support to affected bereaved families.
Held in Our Hearts are a Scottish charity providing compassionate care to families who have suffered the devastating loss of a baby or infant. Their counsellors guide bereaved parents through the grieving process and their peer supporters give compassionate and flexible care in person, zoom, text, email and by telephone. Their peer supporters are all bereaved parents.
You can arrange to speak to one of the Held In Our Heart peer supporters who will help you process complex or mixed emotions you may be experiencing. All these services are free and are being supported by Fife Council. Please email info@heldinourhearts.org.uk and someone at Held In Our Hearts will email or call you for a chat.
